On 25 June 2020, the Royal Government of Cambodia, through Council for the Development of Cambodia, and the U.S government through the U.S Agency for International Development, signed an agreement to provide $38 million for health and education program, $18 million for agriculture and environment program through implementing organization in the Kingdom, for a total of over $56 million in assistance in 2020.
